forgotten s.r.o.

The survey is conducted as part of research for Musubi, an open-source shared calendar developed by FRGTN.
Why are we conducting this survey?
We use the responses to understand how people use calendars, coordinate their time, share plans, and deal with related problems.
The results will help us make product and development decisions for Musubi. We may also use aggregated results in internal reports, public product updates, or research summaries.
We will not use your responses for advertising, individual profiling, or decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
What information do we collect?
The survey may collect:
-
your answers to the survey questions;
-
optional general information such as your age group, country, devices, and calendar services;
-
the language in which you completed the survey;
-
the time spent on individual survey pages;
-
a general recruitment-source code, such as “website”, “GitHub”, or “newsletter”, where such a code is included in the survey link.
We do not ask for your name, email address, telephone number, account identifier, or exact location.
LimeSurvey is configured not to store your IP address or the referring URL together with your survey response. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers in the survey.
Please do not include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, account names, or other identifying information in open-text responses. Please also avoid providing identifying information about other people.
Is the survey anonymous?
The survey is designed so that responses are not directly linked to your identity. We do not attempt to identify individual respondents.
Absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed if you voluntarily enter identifying information in an open-text response or if a combination of unusually specific answers makes you identifiable.
The hosting infrastructure may temporarily process ordinary technical and security information, such as an IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL. These logs are kept separately from survey responses, are used only for operation and security, and are not used to connect your identity with your answers.
Cookies
The survey uses strictly necessary first-party cookies to maintain your session and preserve your answers while you move between survey pages.
It may also use a first-party cookie to reduce accidental duplicate participation. This cookie is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or building a profile of you.
Legal basis
Participation in the survey is voluntary.
To the extent that any collected information constitutes personal data, forgotten s.r.o. processes it on the basis of its legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Those interests are:
-
carrying out responsible product research;
-
understanding user needs and problems;
-
improving and prioritising the development of Musubi;
-
maintaining the integrity and security of the survey.
We have designed the survey to minimise the information collected and the impact on respondents. You may leave the survey at any time before submitting your response.
The checkbox shown with this notice confirms that you have read the information and wish to participate. It is not used as consent for marketing or unrelated processing.
Who can access the information?
Access to raw survey responses is limited to authorised members of the FRGTN team who need the information for research, analysis, security, or technical administration.
Hosting, infrastructure, database, and backup providers may process information on our behalf as data processors and only as necessary to provide and secure their services.
We do not sell survey information, share it with advertising networks, or use it to contact individual respondents.
Publicly shared findings will be presented only as aggregated statistics, general themes, or carefully selected quotations that do not intentionally identify a respondent.
Raw open-text responses will not be published without review and removal of identifying information.
International transfers
Survey responses are stored and processed in the European Union or European Economic Area.
If this changes or a provider outside the European Economic Area is used, we will update this notice and apply the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
How long do we keep the information?
Raw survey responses and survey timing information will be retained for no longer than 12 months after the survey closes.
After that period, the raw responses will be deleted or converted into aggregated or otherwise irreversibly anonymised research results.
Aggregated statistics and research conclusions that no longer relate to identifiable individuals may be retained for product history and long-term research.
Ordinary server and security logs are normally retained for no longer than 30 days, unless a longer period is necessary to investigate a security incident or comply with a legal obligation.
Your rights
Where information connected with your response constitutes personal data, you may have the right to:
-
request access to your personal data;
-
request correction or deletion;
-
request restriction of processing;
-
object to processing based on legitimate interests;
-
lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because the survey does not collect direct identifiers or connect responses to an account, we will normally be unable to identify which response belongs to you after it has been submitted. This may prevent us from locating, providing, correcting, or deleting a particular response.
You may contact us about privacy at [email protected].
You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
Automated decision-making
We do not use survey responses for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Voluntary participation
Participation is voluntary. You may stop before submitting your answers, and there is no penalty for not participating or for skipping optional questions.
